Methods Alliance Engineering Sdn. Bhd. provides comprehensive Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information & Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, including but not limited to:

  • ELV Systems Integration
  • ICT & Structured Cabling Solutions
  • Audio-Visual & Public Address Systems
  • Security & Surveillance Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection)
  • Healthcare Communication Systems (Nurse Call, Infant Protection)
  • Broadcast & Display Solutions
  • Telecommunications Infrastructure
  • Project Consultation, Design, Installation, and Maintenance

3. Quotations and Proposals

3.1 Validity

All quotations and proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Pricing is subject to change based on market conditions, material costs, and project specifications.

3.2 Acceptance

Quotations become binding contracts upon written acceptance by the client and receipt of required deposits or advance payments.

3.3 Scope

Our quotations are based on the specifications and requirements provided by the client. Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges.

4. Project Execution

4.1 Timeline

Project timelines are estimated based on normal working conditions and are subject to:

  • Timely client approvals and decisions
  • Availability of materials and equipment
  • Site readiness and access
  • Weather conditions (for outdoor installations)
  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

4.2 Site Access

Clients must provide safe and timely access to work sites, including necessary permits, power supply, and working conditions. Delays due to lack of access may result in schedule adjustments and additional charges.

4.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project requirements and specifications
  • Ensuring site readiness before installation
  • Obtaining necessary approvals and permits
  • Providing timely feedback and approvals
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Standard Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our standard payment terms are:

  • Deposit: 30% upon contract signing
  • Progress Payment: 40% upon material delivery or mid-project milestone
  • Final Payment: 30% upon project completion and handover

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer, cheque, or as specified in the contract. All payments should be made to the account details provided in our invoices.

5.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law. We reserve the right to suspend work or withhold delivery until outstanding payments are received.

6. Warranty and Support

6.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty on our installation workmanship from the date of project completion and handover.

6.2 Equipment Warranty

Equipment and materials are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will facilitate warranty claims and provide necessary support.

6.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Acts of nature, accidents, or external factors
  • Failure to follow maintenance guidelines

6.4 Maintenance Services

We offer optional maintenance contracts to ensure optimal system performance. Details are available upon request.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation prepared by Methods Alliance Engineering remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.2 Usage Rights

Clients receive a license to use delivered systems and documentation for their intended purpose but may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, trade secrets, and sensitive business data shared during the course of our engagement. This obligation survives the termination of our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Limitations

Our liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Data loss or system downtime
  • Third-party claims or damages

9.2 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by Client

Clients may terminate a project by providing 30 days written notice. The client is responsible for payment of all work completed, materials ordered, and reasonable termination costs.

10.2 Termination by Company

We reserve the right to terminate services in cases of:

  • Non-payment or breach of payment terms
  • Material breach of contract terms
  • Client conduct that compromises safety or project integrity
  • Impossibility of performance

11. Compliance and Standards

Our services comply with relevant Malaysian standards, building codes, and industry best practices, including:

  • Malaysian Standards (MS) and International Standards (ISO)
  • Electrical Installation Standards (IEC, BS)
  • Building regulations and fire safety codes
  • Data protection and privacy regulations
  • Health and safety requirements

12. Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards. Our personnel are trained in safety procedures, and we comply with all applicable occupational safety regulations. Clients must ensure their sites meet safety requirements and inform us of any site-specific hazards.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Negotiation

In the event of disputes, parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations.

13.2 Mediation

If negotiation fails, parties may agree to mediation before pursuing legal action.

13.3 Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any written contracts, quotations, and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between Methods Alliance Engineering and the client, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
